Does the free plan ever expire?
No. The free plan is free forever — not a trial. You can run up to 100 products and 2 users with no time limit and no credit card required. Ever.
What counts as a "product" on the free plan?
Each unique SKU or barcode is one product. Variants (different sizes or colours) listed under the same product count as one product, not multiple.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle. Downgrading to Free is allowed as long as your catalogue is within 100 products.
Is there a setup fee or contract?
No setup fee on any plan. No contracts. Sign up and you're live in minutes. Cancel anytime with no penalty.
How do I add more sub-users?
The Free plan includes 2 users. The Pro plan includes 1 admin — extra sub-users can be added at R50 per user per month. Each sub-user gets their own login with custom permissions.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation. You can export all products, sales, and customer records at any time. After 30 days, data is permanently deleted.
Can I use the Takealot or Shopify integration with the Free plan?
Yes. Integrations are independent add-ons billed separately. You can run Takealot (R499/mo) or Shopify (R299/mo) with the Free POS plan — no upgrade required.
What payment methods do you accept for my subscription?
We accept debit and credit card payments via PayFast. EFT payments and invoices are available on request.
How does auto-pricing work?
Auto-pricing monitors competitor prices on Takealot every 30 minutes and automatically adjusts your prices within your set minimum and maximum boundaries. Your cost floor is always protected — you can never be pushed below your margin.
What is included in the 200 auto-price products on the Takealot plan?
200 products are enrolled in automated competitor price monitoring and repricing. Additional products can be added in blocks of 100 for R200/month per block. All other Takealot features (stock sync, order management, analytics) apply to your full catalogue regardless of how many products are auto-priced.
